The foundations Oefenen.nl and Cinop are the initiators of Taalkit DUTCH. To inform volunteers about the use of the language kit, I designed and built a responsive website theme for Wordpress.
Taalkit Dutch was made in 2015 for no-status refugees (Refugees who have not yet applied for asylum or have not yet received asylum) within the Netherlands. Through Taalkit DUTCH they can learn the language both online and offline.
The website was made for volunteers and other parties to inform and to have a place where all practice material was available.
In 2015 many Syrian refugees came to Europe as neighbouring countries were too full to provide asylum for everyone. Refugees were expected to receive asylum here as well. Taalkit DUTCH was made to give them a head start in our language, so they could start taking part in our society before the official asylum.
