Mollies is a clothing store in Delft. They sell mainly second-hand clothing, but also new and outlet. Mollies was founded in 1999 en they have moved to a new location in 2013.
They asked me to design a refreshed brand and website for them.
The website used to be purple, with a busy repeating background image and yellow navigation text. It was lovingly done by a friend when they started out. These were normal things in 1999, but they hadn't taken the time since to change it.
I started with their wishes to make a more modern, personal and calm brand. I made several designs with a different logo, typeface, colours and business card design.
It was a fun project to work on. I learned a lot about listening to the wishes of the client, yet also advising them from a different point of view.
